I listened to this while reading a book about a man who stumbles upon a large pit in sand dunes. He stays the night there, but then discovers that he can never leave. The sand is always threatening to drown the people at the bottom of the pit, so they must constantly work to shovel it out, or else it will bury them. There are no cruel captors, only a mysterious woman who is mostly silent, and completely passive. The novel has a sense of ominous futility, but is also beautiful. The narrator frequently compares the sand to water.
I can't believe I picked such fitting background music. Love this channel!

That would do an incredible opening shot for a film.

As an ocean lover this is like a gift, truly mesmerizing.

This is awesome, it’s like you’re alone in a sunken submarine, yet safe somehow. So calm.

Sinking deeper into the abyss, away from all the problems, the people, the placid look on your face when the only thing between you and all of it, is that lifeline of bubbles racing back towards the surface.

I am a French author. I am currently writing my new sci-fi novel about Ancient Astronauts and most of the scenes of the second part of the book happen underwater since the characters are scuba diving to try to find a specific proof of the existence of Ancient visitors. I am so glad to have found this ambience to play every time there's a scene underwater. So inspiring! Thank you.

I have always heard of the phrase, “Call of the Deep..” Meaning while some have an inherent fear of the ocean, others however have an attraction to it. While some are terrified to go deeper, others will. I myself have had that feeling, being in the water and simply just wanting to dive deeper, even knowing that my body simply just couldn’t handle the extremities of the sea.
Perhaps why that the ocean is a magnet certain people. Just the thought of the unknown being beautiful and simply wanting to know more.

This is one of the better ambiances I have found for study, and there is a lot, which says something

The ocean is just unsolved and mysterious, when I have doubts on my future I sometimes just think of the ocean since even though its unknown i find beauty within the parts that I know.

This is my absolute favorite ambience of all time. It fits into my headspace like a glove, like it was made for me. Its become a running joke that when my friends want to play something, I bust this out and they all collectively groan over my hour long ambience. Someone set my sisters ringtone to this, and I don't know how to change it back, so I always get confused by the sudden melodic opening before I realize I'm being called. Jokes aside, I really appreciate this ambience, and am very glad I came across it. Thanks!

So happy to have more nautical music for the playlist, this will go beautifully with my ongoing D&D campaign!

I love how you can fall into a deep trance and your breathing changes as you stare at the bubbles. Your mind and body connect with this imagery and feel it almost on a molecular level. Great job.

This music has done wonders for my anxiety. Now every time my heart starts racing or i get those familiar nervous feelings I just pop this music in my ears and i feel much better.

There once was a Captain,
he commanded a mighty Ship so large and so powerful that he claimed, truly nothing could sink it.
Not the most horrific of Storms could best its titanic Armor.
Not the strongest Leviathan could best its apocalyptic Cannons.
Indeed, so great was its strength that not even the the eternal Ice could withstand the force of its otherworldly Engines ...
Some would claim that it was pure arrogance deluding the Captain to think so boldly of his proud craft and yet,
it was all true.
Still though, the Sea should in the end see the Ship sink along with its proud Captain.
For then there came War,
and an even mightier Ship brought it down ...

Only the Sea will always win in the end.

I wanna sit on the bottom of the ocean, just max 3m height. See all the fishes and coral reef around me. I wish I don’t need air or googles. I don’t know why but I think this will make me feel safe

Some people have agoraphobia and thalassophobia... my mind is geared exactly the opposite. I wish I could explore like a ghost in the oceans, with no machines or apparatus.
