2015 WRX transmission problem

My 2015 wrx pops out of 1st &2nd gear while engine braking downhill. If you’ve had this happen or know what it might be feel free to comment.

First gear is not meant to coast down the hill it’s only meant to start moving the car from stationary

Same thing happens to me. Typically I just throw it into neutral and coast downhill or shift into 2nd.

1st gear is a starting gear, the ratio is to fast to let the transmission decelerate in first. Also check your mounts

Stop ricing it in 1st. Solves lots of problems

100% synchros happened to me in 6th until I got the whole thing replaced.

I’d make sure it’s not the pitch stop mount

You by chance been beating on that rex and power shifting often?

Mine does it in reverse, all other gears stay in but it throws out reverse sometimes any idea why ?

Throw out bearing aka release bearing.

First of all why you going downhill on 1st gear ? Throw the car on neutral
