Nikon D7000. I love this camera for many reasons and love to take pictures with it. The image quality is beautiful for a 16.2 megapixel cropped sensor. Keep watching to see some sample images taken with this camera. I will be posting more videos about this camera in the near future and would love to take you on that journey. Sorry I haven't made any videos lately guys I was in bed sick for like 2 weeks. Hope your all doing well. I took every precaution I could to stay safe. I believe I got sick from my job. Stay safe and live well. See you soon guys!

Literally the thing I must learn so I get myself back into shooting. Thank you for you time in making this. I been having a rollercoaster of self made depression and anxiety and this is a good start for me to get to know the d7000 I RANDOMLY got because I like the D2X. But this camera has many strengths. I will love the feel of my d2, for sure not the weight, and this will compliment this issue and get me more good shots. Thank you. I'll be seeing your other videos this month of October 2024.

I still use my D7000 and I got it about 10 years ago. I got for £2000 at the time and matched it up with Nikon 18-300mm. Love the lens as it’s a great all rounder for weddings, landscapes and portraits. It’s a work horse camera and I love it.

I bought this camera when it first came out. I paired it with a Sigma 70-200 lens and took pictures of my young son and teammates playing hockey. I learned to take the lens off of Image Stabilization when setting to a fast shutter speed to stop the action. And I also used it for baseball with a different lens. The pictures are phenomenal. I most recently used it with a Sigma 150-600 for high school baseball. The camera really is able to take high level photos. Your photos are outstanding. I think once you get to a certain quality of equipment it becomes less about the equipment and more about the photographer. Obviously there is always an exception with specific types of photography. For an all around camera I for one cannot outperform the D7000.

Thanks for this video. If someone can use all this camera has to offer then that is a lot. The D7000 is underrated and not much talked about by now. I agree that it is interesting and incredibly good. It is a huge improvement over the D80 which I also have. You don't have to spend thousands of dollars on mirrorless cameras to take good quality or professional grade photos, and this camera proves that.

Kris, you made nice images with your D7000. I still keep a pair of them around and use them as my daily work cameras. These two were both very late models bought used with less than 500 clicks on each, and despite what you hear about this model's autofocus, neither one has given me a moment's trouble focusing. I've used my D7000's to shoot pictures for lecture presentations, a book, and even made technical videos with them. For the most part they have everything I need and nothing I don't.

One thing I particularly enjoy is how well this camera works with older AF-D autofocus lenses, and even older still Nikon manual focus lenses, most of which can be bought dirt cheap. The 16mp sensor in the D7000 is not so demanding as more modern cameras, and so the flaws that may be apparent in older lenses just don't seem to show up that often.

I've owned both the D7100 and D7200 as well as full frame Nikons, and to be honest, I just don't see any real difference for me in the type of work I do with a camera. And, I agree with you about the battery grip. Cheers.

Decided to get it with good old AF 70-300. Maybe would get 18-105 VR too. Thanks for a video!

I bought mine in 2013. It is still a workhorse for me. Not sure what the AF issue is as I've never had an problem.

Thank you for the video and I hope you feel better. The D7000 is a great camera. It has tons of pro features. The most important to me is the ability to use older screw drive lenses. Some of those older Nikkor lenses were built like tanks. If you ignore the hype from the camera companies and do a little research you will see that 16MP is just about perfect. Anything over 20MP is a waste as the human eye can't resolve that fine detail. (the D5 and D500 are 20MP cameras) The D7000 is a pro grade camera body at a great price on the used market. For what you get it is one of the best deals out there. The only other Nikon I like better is the D300. As far as video goes I have yet to use that feature. I'm strictly a stills photographer. I'll have to check out your gear haul videos as I love finding bargains on photo gear.
