You gotta be of a certain age to appreciate the Detroit Lions playoff runs even if you're not a fan of them.

It's crazy how Allen, Baker, Darnold and Jackson are all in the playoffs at the same time.

Of course no Broncos players from TPS they also gave us like 5 wins at the start of the season though so keep being surprised.

Baltimore: Rashod Bateman. He’s starting to improve from an injury prone bust to a reliable enough option. If Zay Flowers is out vs Pittsburgh, Bateman will be needed to keep 8 and 9 defenders out of the box for Derrick Henry.
Buffalo: Greg Rousseau. He’s a good pass rusher, but first he has to beat the likes of Mike McGlinchey and Garett Bolles for Denver, then make life tough for Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes. If he does, he could be nearing elite status at end.
Denver: Nik Bonnito. He’s already started to make a name for himself as 1 of the best sack artists this season. But between an elite Bills offensive line that allowed the fewest sacks, and a monster of a quarterback in Josh Allen, he might need to make a few big plays to allow Denver to stay in the game.
Detroit: Levi Onwuzurike. The oft injured player has had to be on the field more often and has been more effective than Josh Paschal. If he can force offensive lines to account for more than just Za’Darius Smith in the pass rush, that will mean the possibility of getting Aiden Hutchinson back and more than likely a trip to New Orleans.
Houston: Nico Collins. He’s been one of the better receivers in the league the last 2 seasons, but with CJ Stroud and the offensive line regressing, plus without 2 key teammates in Stefan Diggs and Tank Dell, he’s going to have to beat double teams to allow the run game with Joe Mixon opportunities.
Chargers: JK Dobbins. Considering how much Jim Harbaugh wants a tough identity to be associated with the Chargers, Dobbins popping off good games means Justin Herbert will routinely face 1-on-1 coverage to try and get Quentin Johnston and Ladd McConkey the ball.
Rams: Jared Verse. He’s getting close to being an elite all-around threat on defense, in spite of not great sack numbers. With the Rams playing in low scoring games for the past month, anything Verse can do to keep it that way will allow the offense to take big risks that could lead to bigger rewards.
Minnesota: Andrew Van Ginkel. It seems like he’s everywhere, and for the most part has had a great season. However, the likes of Jonathan Greenard, Cam Bynum, Josh Metellus, Ivan Pace Jr, Harrison Smith, Harrison Phillips and even Blake Cashman can get more recognition than him. If the Vikings make it to the conference championship game or further, he’ll be one of the main reasons why, whether it be pass rushing or in coverage.
Green Bay: Rasheed Walker. Part of the inconsistencies of the Packers offense has been the lack of consistency from the offensive line. While Walker held off 1st round rookie Jordan Morgan so start at Tackle, he’s in no way considered elite. However, if he can hold up against the likes of the Eagles, Vikings and Lions pass rush, that will allow Josh Jacobs to wear down defenses and give either Jordan Love or Malik Willis time for play action.
Philadelphia: Josh Sweat. He’s their best pass rush option at end, but he’s also in a contract year. If he balls out in the playoffs, he’ll be one of the top free agents in the off-season, allowing him to name his price and have the possibility of a Super Bowl ring.
Pittsburgh: Zach Frazier. The rookie center has been pretty good, but the offensive line has been hit and miss throughout the season. If Pittsburgh is to have any chance against Baltimore, they need to hold up against Nnamdi Madubuike, Michael Pierce, Odafeh Oweh, Kyle Van Noy and Roquan Smith to get their run game and play action going.
Tampa Bay: Zyon McCollum. While he has steadily progressed up the depth chart over the last few years, he’s part of one of the worst pass defenses this season that has had large chunks of the season without their starting safeties Jordan Whitehead and Antoine Winfield Jr. If he plays well against “Scary” Terry McLaurin and continues to have success facing elite NFC receivers, there’s just enough talent to make a run for the conference championship.
Washington: Frankie Luvu. Him and Andrew Van Ginkel seem to have similar games: able to rush the passer, stop the run, force turnovers and make enough plays in coverage to not be a liability. If Washington makes a run, he’ll have to contend with tight ends Cade Otton, Sam LaPorta, TJ Hockensen, Dallas Goedert, Tucker Kraft; runningbacks out of the backfield like Bucky Irving, Jahmyr Gibbs, Aaron Jones, Josh Jacobs, Kyren Williams and Saquon Barkley, and quarterbacks Baker Mayfield, Jordan Love, Jared Goff, Sam Darnold, Matthew Stafford and maybe Jalen Hurts.

This list was garbage the moment I saw Pickens, cry baby wanted the ball and had ZERO yards against Cincy. How he’s gonna go off against the Ravens whose D has gotten better? Also thank you for omitting the Bolts, the bias towards household names is unreal. My pick for the Chargers would be Tarheeb Still. He’s been making his way to one of the best rookie CBs.

Good List. My addition would be Justin Herbert-he's gonna break out this post season.😎

If Caleb Williams can't read defenses or pass accurately as Bill Belichick and others have pointed out during the training camp, then he is not ready to lead the team let alone be a star. Tyson Bagent, Michael Penix Jr and Austin Reed are far better passing QBs then he is.

I think at least sticking with one player per team would’ve made this more interesting

Bro always be sleeping on the chargers (it’s like this guy is on a mf bandwagon like no cap!) Herbert, Ladd, Alt, JK all have the potential to solidify star status

If Sam Darnold is the guy to finally bring a SuperBowl to Minnesota then that would _DEFINITELY_ be _THEE CRAZIEST THING_ in the last decade or so... or maybe even longer than that!!!

You know, I'm getting really tired of the Chargers getting omitted from lists like this. Ladd McKonkey and Joe Alt are absolutely poised to be stars in the playoffs and the fact that they got left off this list is frankly disrespectful.

Once again Baker Mayfield gets overlooked with a statistical season reminiscent of 2020 Tom Brady.
