I absorb large amounts of information in my memory every day by watching videos on YouTube. Most of it is very technical. The downfall is that it is not very accurate and has a tendency to be forgotten. Having all this information stored in your DNA would be a more positive form of storage. Placing a computer chip inside us to intercept this information as we need it and being able to use it at will would be quite super. We would all become a supercomputer.

What's the point of having something super secure if you have to rely on labs (people) to convert and access the data?

It's amazing stuff! My son works at a biomedical lab and they make this stuff and also do the encoding for data storage. I don't understand much of it but his company is getting ready to increase manufacturing of DNA on a very large scale. It's the way of the future!

It's only expensive because the demand is low. If the demand is high the cost goes down

If I were to backup my old computer data in some part of my body, and somehow needed to transfer my backup to a new computer...

How do we get the backup out?
