I always wondered how does cave painting makes sense as a ritual. Did they gather around and decided, it's time to cave paint? Were those rainy days with nothing much else to do? But I guess waking up in the middle of the night makes a lot of sense since you ain't going to ooga-booga much outside in the dark anyway.
