⌖ Exciting news, right? So I did a video on Project TL back in July, where I talked about the lack of information released from NCSoft in terms of the game's future. It's been a long time.
Project TL was originally known as Lineage: Eternal or Lineage 3 - and was expected to be direct competition to Lost Ark.
You all remember that, right? Back when both games were initially announced, and fans of the genre were on one side or the other, claiming there can only be one truly good isometric action MMORPG.
That all seems like a distant memory now, with Lineage: Eternal rebranding as Project TL and then NCSoft going pretty much completely silent for.. well, since it was announced.
The reason for the rebranding was due to a disappointing reception - people were just not happy or excited about what NCSoft had presented especially when compared to Lost Ark. So they opted to completely overhaul the game.
I'm sure you're all aware that this takes time - so it's understandable that the game has been delayed for as long as it has, but not keeping your fans updated with progress is still kind of a crappy move.
I know that there was whispers of the game's development in South Korea but that was it. Until now, that is.

its been what feels like over a decade... oh wait. ncsoft is like your first love that hurts you over and over but you still get butterflies when they text you. this is basically a "you up" text at 3 am. i dont want to be hurt again. but im ready to be hurt again

Just give us Lineage 3....17 years later, we are waiting. I dont want a wanna be Diablo clone. I want a true MMO in Lineage 2 style but new, modern and fixed with the problems Lineage 2 had.

NCsoft licensed Unreal Engine 4. We are more then ready to get so long awaited Lineage 2 remaster to UE4... And it's finally coming :)

Im Old.... First MMO i ever played was L2 and its was beautyfull journey. Project TL was my hope till they shown isometric playstyle. Somehow i don't/not really like those kinda games still mayby gonna look into it. But right now im more excited for L2 Remasterd, propobly gonna die till it will release to Europe but well, nostalgia and memories win this one, L2 Classic its just too old (like me) and i dont wanna destroy them. Ohhh sweet memories....

Honestly my favorite MMO to this day is still Lineage 2, anything up to Interlude or HighFive at the most. That's why I was so sad to find out the newest Lineage game was going to be a hack-n-slash, I was really hoping they would expand on the success of Lineage 2 because it's still pretty popular for a 17 year old game but the issue is that the population is split up between the official retail servers and then hundreds of private servers.

The game is cancelled because they couldn’t “live up to the community” AHEM Peria Chronicles. The game looks amazing. 2020 is gonna be amazing

For some reason i've always been more hyped about this one than Lost Ark.
Everything look better in my eyes and to be honest.. i kinda liked the 2 char system they previously had!
Don't even know why people flipped over this mechanic....

One day we scream for inovation.. the next day we shit on everything that's slightly out of the comfort zone....

I wish you could pvp in farm zones like you could in lineage 2 with PK and PVP status.
