Mechanical Design: 80/20 Hardware

80/20 (brand name) hardware is a modular system of components based on extruded Aluminum members that can be used to create a wide assortment of different mechanical structures. In one setting it might be used to create a test fixture. In another setting it might be used to build a cart (complete with wheels and side panels!). They’re kind of like an industrial version of your childhood building block.
