Wagner chief listed as on Russia plane which crashed, killing 10 - reports

A Russian private jet crashed in Moscow’s Tver region, killing all ten people on board. Russian state-run news agencies said that Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Wagner group, was among the individuals listed as a passenger.

Russian sources say Embraer Legacy 600 business aircraft registered RA-02795, was shot down by air defense fire from the Russian Ministry of Defense in the Bologovsky district, Tver region. This plane was often used by head of Wagner group, Evgenyi Prigozhin

According to the VChK-OGPU channel, Prigozhin and the leadership of Wagner was on his way back from Africa to oppose a plan by the Russian GRU to replace Wagner in the continent. Prigozhin was listed as a passenger on a private jet which crashed north of Moscow with no survivors. There was no confirmation that Prigozhin was physically on board.
