I actually use the liberators at Vault 76, stand on top of the bus and do the same process. :D

This perk was a game changer for me 🙂
My favourite "chargers":
- Assaultrons in Watoga (just take out their leg and wait for that laser beam)
- Blood eagles/Super mutants with auto laser rifle
- Foes with flamer or plasma thrower (fastest charge out there)

And to think that I used to be affraid of enemies with flamers 😉

This is a great tutorial on how to do this.

However, if we're able to go to these lengths to charge fusion cores, Bethesda may as well implement a camp device to allow us to get a group of fusion cores together to get a fully charged one out of it. I wouldn't even mind if there was a power loss in the exchange as that's exactly what would happen if you used one battery to charge another one.

Something very cool about Electrical Absorption is that it's basically negating the energy damage when it goes procs. It's like Ricochet, but absorbs instead of reflects. For my full health tank build it's another layer on my many layers of virtual invulnerability.

My favorite place to recharge is right outside Vault 76. There are a handful of Liberators there who recharge you super fast. It's also easy to get to and free to travel to. It's a less dangerous place if you have a hard time surviving in other places, like The Deep.

I know most people like Bloodied, I like never having to even think about any damage or anything, just stand wherever, in whatever, whenever and let my defenses and my vamps bashing shredder do the work.

Fusion Core Recharger is now available in the Pitt Recruitment bundle. Can charge 4 fusion cores from 0 to 100 in about a half hour. Much easier and less time consuming imo. If you still want to use this method, standing in front of Westek is quicker and doesn't require jumping and standing on rafters.

You can also craft level 25 Gatling Lasers (with Super Duper 3 & Science Expert 2 equipped). This gives you one fully charged Fusion Core for each Gatling Laser crafted. Then scrap the weapons (with Scrapper 1 equipped) and get back some materials.

Instantly get as many as you need, without having to wait for the workshop collectors to accumulate.

Yes, I love that ability; I have not needed to gather more cores since that card came out. Plus I get 2 cores from Line In The Sand after each successful completion.

This will help a lot, I thought going to wes tek would do the trick since some of the super mutants have energy weapons, but this will work a lot better since all of the enemies will have energy attacks. Thanks Turtle! 🐢💚

Noteworthy mention: when you try to enter Power Armour without a core in it, you get the animation of it loading a core which automatically uses the lowest core you are carrying.

Great place to do this is at Survey Camp Alpha near Watoga Station. 90% of the time, there’s a couple Gutsies there with a protection, 10% there’s an Assaultron. Kill the Gutsies, then go stand on the logs at the S side of the camp and let the protectron blast away. Much safer(albeit slower) and easier to get to and still creates a pathing problem for the protectron to get to you in melee (can occasionally get on the logs just move away and get back on). The Assaultron method mentioned above is MUCH faster and also much riskier.

Edit: At Survey Camp Alpha you will occasionally have to deal with a SB and Scorched if you don’t visit the nearby fissure first.

They should implement something you can enable in settings where energy weapons always load the highest charges core even if it’s already loaded in the power armor

Robco Research Center is where I go to do this. Outside grab the robots& stand on the trailer near the edge. I always quickly recharge my cores there. You can go inside as well if you want

Hi Turtle!
Great video as always.
The fastest way I know of is to recharge them by the TRANSMISSION STATION 1AT-U03.
(North-West side of the map)
Get inside the Enclave Research Facility and use the Enclave Sentry Bot to kindly charge your cores. Note that he can't get to you because of the stairs.
Thanks bro and greetings from the caribbean.

Thanks for this! I've been creating Fusion Cores at over 100% and still running out way too often! Thinking of equiping the perk card to carry more energy weapon weight permanently and trying this out. Awesome!!

That is brilliant! It never occurred to me before to charge my fusion cores.

Bethesda will now find way to take this away from everyone who does this.

Very timely video for me. Just today I picked up a Vampire's 25% FFR Ultracite Gatling Laser.

This is great because you know this method will be way faster than the Fusion Core Recharger coming with The Pitt defenitive edition

I usually just fast travel to mama dolces/ vault 76 or go to the trainyard in Charleston. This was a really useful legendary perk for my new character with the invaders from beyond event.

I love to use the legendary perk at lv4 and find either an Assaultron or laser turrets (or aliens in the Invaders From Beyond event) so all I really need is just 2-3 FC with Power User perk at lv3

Was wondering when you'd do this video. Absolutely love your work, Turtle! ❤️❤️
