Flyndogg,

I'm not too sure about your math. The 1/4" sounds good, except when you change the width of your project. Reducing distance is easy, just shorten the PVC. Increasing distance means putting pieces together. It would be easier to wrap the pipe with blue tape.

Now you just need another 5000 or so feet of pvc for all the other varying lengths you'll need to clamp, or do you just make the same thing over and over again?

The solution is buy the galvanized pipe instead of the black my guy

I've wrapped my pipe clamps in packing tape. Bonus is the clamps can be closed.

It' easier just to put packing tape on the TOP of the pipe and it's there for EVVVER.

Doesn't thi@ defeat the purpose of the clamp? You'd have to have a length of PVC pipe for every length of the the clamp for evey application.

What does the clamp ends, black pipe, plus the PVC cost, in comparison to a good clamp?

You might get the idea that I hate pipe clamps, and you'd be right.
