Scientists create mammoth meatballs

Scientists in Australia have created a meatball from mammoths, a species that went extinct thousands of years ago.

The mammoth meatball comes from an Australian company called Vow, to “start a conversation about how we eat, and what future alternatives can look like”.

Plant-based alternatives to meat are now common in the supermarket. But ‘cultivated’ meat is only available at the moment to consumers in Singapore.
