We had deep conversations about God with her main associate (a family member). They said she was going through a lot. All of this was before her injury on set. So true! I was 27 years of age when God showed me the clarity of the industry. I was an upcoming artist in a group, did a couple of commercials, and auditioned for Sunday Best and more. I was connected with a great platform of people. I even know some of the hottest artists as well in my town plus Hollywood. When Jesus Christ started to awaken my spirit. Everything became clear. I fast on and off for a year. The word of God became my breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I walked away from it all. In the meantime, running across producers offering MILLION DOLLARS DEALS. I denied the offers, actually seeing the devil within that person. My God, it became surreal at that moment I knew it was Jesus Christ saving me from self-destruction. Praise be to Jesus Christ's Holy name. 👏 🙌

The Holy Spirit stopped me from watching movies. I had lined them up ready to burn nights while watching them but... The Holy Spirit said no. I have never watched a single movie since then. Eight years now.
I prayed to Jesus Christ so hard to get me off secular music, He was faithful n yes I don't listen to or take interest in secular music anymore.

I am a commercial actor but also do independent films. But when I was born again I lost my drive for acting and yes, you have to be more discerning of the roles you choose. I have n’t been involve in project since but If there are projects that are not honoring to God I won’t do them. My focus was acting and now my focus is God. God is worth everything. ❤

The Lord told Laticia that if she gave that role up he would have better later, and she ended up getting that pivotal role in Black Panther. Now she obeys the Lord's purpose for her by sharing the gospel onset. As she mentioned, you don't have to be a pastor to do so.

Thank you for sharing this. My son is pushing so hard to become an actor. All I have been doing is honestly discouraging him from going that route because of all of the mess that is associated with that industry. No matter how hard I am against it, he is determined to keep trying. I am happy I heard this because my son said he feels he can be a light to others in the industry. I told him it is easier to get persuaded than it is to persuade. But after hearing this sister, I believe God wanted me to see this video.
