I feel like you get tired of playing torwards the end of tournaments. Nice win but damn you could have went further on this one.

Good result Ethan. Some thoughts since you asked. In tournament poker I'd minimize playing those marginal hands like 65 suited unless you're both very deep stacked. With the way blind structures escalate you're often going to be facing proportionally sized large bets and have to make very difficult decisions unless you flop the nuts....this becomes a very big leak as you're going to have to fold out on many flops even if you hit a pair like you did in this hand. On the hand with 44 and flopped QQ2 I think you're always best to check that in position rather than bet. You are almost always going to get floated by a hand with big overcards, and will almost always get called by any pair...and any turn card other than a 4 you're going to hate.. So why bloat the pot. Give your opponent a chance to bluff the turn with a bet/call, and with a controlled pot you can more easily make decisions on the river instead of potentially playing for all your chips with just a pair of fours. And the A6 I think that was probably a fatigue shove because you were certainly deep enough to wait for a better spot. Shoving with A6 means that either everyone folds and you only get scraps, or if you get called you're almost always way behind with a bigger AX or a pocket pair. But good to see you get a cash and make some bucks in this tournament.

Yo Rampage, I saw Daniel N on his WSOP series put his WSOP earnings at the end of every vid. Having something like a profit and loss counter for all your buy - ins and wins could be really cool. Love the vids.

that jj vs 44 hand at @3:49 is brutal on the bubble

That dude eliminated on the bubble was PISSED. Don’t blame him

Use a card protector or keep them further from the dealer. They love to scoop up cards that are close to them. And definitely if you are at the 1 or 9 seat

Idk. I feel like yes its probably correct to jam 13 bbs on button with A6 but I feel like you could just let it go and wait for a better hand. With that much money and a bracelet on the line you could pull some sean winter short stack ninja tricks

Went deep with GTOW. HJ vs CO 25bb eff apparently should be played as a pure check on this flop, and should be checked 82% of the time regardless of flop 🤯 AQo is a check/fold on that turn.

How do you check raise the BB? on the 5c6c hand

I think the call with AQ around 11:00 was good based on EV. 75K to win a 265K pot puts you at like 3.5:1 odds, and hitting a pair would’ve likely given you the best hand in the board

Highlight of the night 9:23: "Don't think I'm really up against AK ever, when he shoves for this much"... opponent shows AK suited. LOL

I think you played well. If I may say so, I think you could be more patient in some spots. I get that when you are at 15 or 20 BBs, often there is good argument to jam it in. But watch DNeg's recent videos where he was still patient when he got down to 10 BBs and still found some folds while looking for a better opportunity.

I’m pretty new to the tournament.. if you came at 27 place.. how much $ did you get? If you don’t mind me asking?

13 big blinds when your in the money that deep, you really dont need to shove that light. IDK the exact scenario that was so it could have been correct, but in general im folding that unless its like im shoving on the bb and sb with the button

I'm sorry rampage but A6 off with 13BB isn't a shove

This might sound crazy but I have this feeling you’re gonna get a top

Was wondering where the straight flush was?

If you call that turn with AQ then u gotta call the river..so many bluffs forced to bet the river. He had Q 10, QK or diamonds
