😱 Relive the images of the @GuyaderBermudesRace speed runs

Charal (Jérémie Beyou and Franck Cammas) and FOR PEOPLE (Thomas Ruyant and Morgan Lagravière) finished ex-aequo in the Pom'Potes Challenge with a time of 2'13'' over 1.2 miles (32.48 knots average) whilst FOR PEOPLE won the Oceania Hotels Trophy with a performance of 36.55 knots over a distance of 500 metres.

Balance on those imocas on first shots is crazy. They have no rudder foils and are foiling perfectly with no hull touching the water. Amazing

Very good achievement in the development of this class of boat.But why are they not putting a. Small wing tab on the rudders too help it balance and stay on the foils.?

What kind of speeds do they achieve in these runs?

How safe are the bow riders? Would it not be better to have water ballast in the bow if weight forward is critical to keep the boats from lifting skywards? Are the bow riders tethered on to a safety line? Be unsafe not to be but not good if the bow stuffs into a wave. You could end up with injuries in the tangle of bodies.
