Crazy how accurate that thing is. To go back around the same line, that is the size of small fishing line. Impressive

The thing I’m most upset about is the insane amount of waste in that tool path. With that accuracy you should be able to do that in half the amount of material.

The machine software should automatically find the layout that’ll waste the least amount of material

And how awesome it is your consumable is a cheap standard utility blade that can be purchased at just about any store on the planet.

There is a company called Tan Tec here in Mississippi. They cut leather for "Timberland" shoes and many othere. It's one hell of an operation.

This is the 2nd kinkiest CNC thing I have witnessed today.

This looks like one of those examples of "no I'm not buying your expensive replacement blades ever again" type things

Excellent there's no double cut or ghosting, so extremely accurate.

You make CNCing look so easy. Thanks for all the inspiration. 👍

The thing that impresses me the most is the impressive quality of the Stanley blade.
The ones I get now are made of cheese and they’ll blunt from sharpening a pencil.

The only question I have is why there needs to be a lead-in at the start of each pattern. I know that for cnc plasma cutting that lead in helps start the cut without messing up the pattern. But here I would think you can just start cutting without worrying about the time it takes to pierce.

Might want to try a space fill software to optimise your waste.

I'd be happy monitoring this machine all day

Personally I prefer the 100% handmade products specially if it comes to leather and wooden things 😌

oddly hypnotic! I'd still prefer to purchase something made by hand but this probably makes it more affordable. Nice video of a clever machine 👍🍺🇬🇧
