Tesla Executives Announce 4 Major Programs Back From the DEAD!

Over the past few days, Tesla has shown that four major programs are alive and well. They're advancing the DOJO supercomputer with versions 2 and 3 in the works. The Tesla Semi truck is back on track, with updates coming next month in Germany. Cybertrucks worth $40 million were spotted at Giga Texas, proving it's not a failure. Lastly, Tesla is expanding their supercharger network with an $18 million deal in Queens, New York.

Latency and throughput are not the same thing. Latency refers to the amount of time it takes a packet from point A to point B. Throughput refers to the amount of data that can be transferred in a given amount of time.
Low latency does not directly translate to higher throughput.
Other factors influence throughput. For example, the elapsed time between packets.

re: giga-texas production rate. I'll point out that they are now on a 4 day x 12 hour shift instead of a 5 day shift. This puts them in a good position to start ramping very fast, they can go to what I understand is their normal production schedule where they have two day shifts and two night shifts (one day shift works 4 days this week, takes 3 days off while the other works, works 3 days the next week, takes 4 days off with the other works), that results in 3.5x the man hours available to run the same equipment (minus some time for increased maintenance that may have been happening outside the original single shift)

How can the Foundation Series be almost done with if they've only sold 20, 000 and they have over 2M preorders? Tesla's stated goal is not to create ultra rare Cybertrucks but rather sell one to everyone who wants one and I don't believe that number is this low.

The acquisition of that Maspeth, Queens, NYC parking lot is an ideal location for travelers along the BQE (Brooklyn-Queens Expressway) and LIE (Long Island Expressway), as it's right by their huge intersection. A large Supercharger spot for all the traffic going into and out of Midtown Manhattan via the tunnel. It's also in an industrial-commercial district, thus lower real estate costs.
