Ultra-High Performance Fiber Reinforced Concrete ("UHPFRC") is very quickly proving itself to be the building material of the future.

Not to be confused with Ultra-High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) or Fiber-Reinforced Concrete (FRC), the combination of UHPC and fiber reinforcements creates a material with high tensile strength and ductile behavior. This combination has been proven to exhibit superior mechanical properties and energy absorption capacity.

Initially, the high material cost, energy consumption during creation, and embedded CO2 emissions of UHPFRC were not aligned with global efforts to conserve energy and reduce environmental impact. However, a decade of research has led to optimized binder and fiber applications, along with efficient packing models, making the product more sustainable and cost-effective.
