The surreal situation of watching
someone you love die.
The belief of their longevity while
witnessing their death.
Powerless to save them.
Coping mechanisms while
helping them through their
illness -apathy. and cognitive
indifference of the illness.
The person you love is there in
a surreal way.
Wound care, tube feedings, trachea
tube cleaning and medicating
done in cognitive indifference mode.
The fear of intimacy increases
as the knowledge of your spouse
leaving you increases.
Apathy keeping an unwelcome
Unquantifiable grief at bay.
There unable to come to terms of
the situation learns to rely on
procedural memory .
Safe, austere, effective, methodical
non emotional care.
This is not happening. When do they
tell me this is a bad joke?
This is not happening. This silliness
of button button is over.
Why did I not fix him. Make him better again . I failed, I failed and look what
happened.

You’re no Jeff Bezos that’s above the law Jing Han. Or any kind of Bruce Wayne or Batman. What are you doing?

Lets not talk about political dissonance with the liberal minded though, lets go after the omnivore types instead.
