You also need to put a torque arm on. it could save your life when that wheel comes off and rear hub motors are notorious for coming loose.

You need a torque arm each side otherwise otherwise it is very dangerous, imagine the wheel coming off at 30+mph.

I want to put fatter tires onto my e-bike, is it possible to remove the hub from the wheel itself and install it into another rim?

Did your hum motor wheel come with the cassette already attached as mine just came with a thread so wondering how I attach a freehub and cassette and which specific one I need

Are there spacers you put between the gears and the frame? The ones I received have the gears touching the frame when mounted and it makes it hard to turn the wheel.

Put a bit of air in the tyre tube before putting it in the tyre...that way you won't pinch the tube when inflating and pop it!

Do you put a spacer under the freewheel? My derailleur is rubbing the motor in the lowest cog

Do you have to keep the gears? I want to convert my mountain bike to a single speed before I convert it to an electric bike. I grew up on single speed bmx style bikes and never got the speed thing and I just think that it'sjust something else that can break down or needs maintenance and want to do away with it all together and it's not a brand new bike anyway so I don't know if it works properly anyway.

Great video. I received the AW rear wheel conversion kit from Amazon.  My bike shop looked at it and there are two problems. First problem is that my Shimano crank is tapered and the PAS takes up room so that my crank will not slide back on all the way, I can tighten the bolt but the crank is not seated all the way and the bike shop said it will eventually wear out the crank arm since it is not tightly seated.  My bike mechanic said the only thing he could think of is to grind off some of the crank.  Is there a PAS system that will work in this case or do I need to buy  a grinder?  Also the derailer rubs in top gear and the bike shop said no way to fix except to adjust it and lose the top gear.

It seems your rear wheel spins alot, mine spins only for 10 seconds after i stops pedals, is this normal for ebike cos its wheel is heavy or not? (No brake problem)

U didn't show putting the tire on the bike the wire goes between the inside axle first put it through the middle of the disc washer first pull Moto wire to the side then put the tire on leave some slack on the motor wire then easy to hook up voilamart shows you what wire goes we're there's only a few u don't need the power senser plugged it wouldn't get it's full speed 1500 watt 48 volts my battery cost 330 bucks 20 am 50 bms guicker than a 30, at 1500 watt wieghs only 11 pounds flat on back bike rack close to the seat they do wheelies don't hook up the back break that kills the motor so you can use it, but hook up front for emergency stop so easy like I said it tells u we're the wires go on voilamart anyway 220 bucks 35mph if you hook up the limit wire blue has connectors on every wire then tape it it copper to silver wire have fun
