Why is hedging danger if it’s done the right way

Thanks Adam, regarding the equity curve. I imagine it would be normal in a losing month for an EA like G7 (or 27) to have a negative equity curve for most of the losing month. Does this sound correct?

Ive been losing algo trade 3x, 1st lost about 70$ (but still in positive positions) was my mistake not to read the news or current event, 2nd lose about 1/3 earnings thx to Ukraine / Russia tensions. 3rd was total blow out 50$ for using Hedging strategy in 2 days, too bad my friend earn 300% in just 3 days, he was lucky after spike event
