I TRIED TRADING BOTS: IS IT PROFITABLE?

I finally tried using a trading bot to see if its profitable and safe. Here's my experience, what i discovered, and how much i made.

Hit 110k last week, lost over 14k today

The problem is all these are short term results! I also had amazing returns with a bot in 2 weeks and made $16k in profits!! Then the third week the market was volatile and I lost all $16k and nearly blew my prop firm account. .I even did forward testing by putting the bot on a demo account. Results looked great so I put it on a live account then lost another $5k in 1 day!!. The bots seem to vary in results too by brokers. One bot with one broker was profitable and another Broker same bot was in a big draw down. So I haven't figured out how to build consistency in the long term that's the problem! Yes you can make great returns in the short term! The question is if bots are passive and reliable profit generators why would anybody manually trade?

Tip: Just stick to one pair only you trade with the bot that works and gives you a fair or good return. This is just to avoid volatility and market conditions when you are jumping to one coin to another. Just stop being a mosquito larva or a grasshopper. Different pairs or coins gives different results and market conditions and liquidities. The ones that are profitable on my expirience is a bot that trades on a range like a grid bot.

So you only showed up to 7 days result and you are convinced that it's profitable :D I mean, in general bots can be profitable, but the results you are sharing is not real

That is not consistent, which means not a reliable source of income. You need to constantly adjust and change in order to maintain a good profit. There will be days of losses, in fact most days are losses and only few times of winning. If trading bots really profitable, then majority of the traders will provide updates on their daily earnings from trading.

In my trading bot I earn per grid is 0.68%-1.58% per grid thats good

Everyone knows that the issue with bots is eventual catastrophic drawdowns. A proper evaluation of any trading strategy is over a long period of time, until you can characterize the number and magnitude of drawdowns.

how many is the ideal grid on your profit to set up, when it execute will it do it again coz you let it for many days, sorry im a beginner
