Siempre es una satisfacción volver a ver como un intento de aprovechar un error arbitral y la falta de caballerosidad de un ex N°1 (actualmente Dic 2024). Es hermoso que hayan tenido la posibilidad de remar Ale y Juan para morir en la orilla. Admiración total x la fortaleza mental de Arturo y Agustín 😊 (creo q no existe otro partido de padel profesional que haya sido ganado 2 veces)

For those who don't understand what happened, an english explanation.

During the second set, the referee made a mistake with the score. The game was 40/30 but the referee said 30/40. That's why the scoring board disappears from the top left corner for a bit.
After Coello and Tapia scored the point, all players knew they had won. However, Galán was saying it was incorrect, since the referee said it was 30/40. So, technically it was a tie and they should go into "golden point". That caused some discussion with the referee.
Yes, the referee made a mistake, but because the following point had already been played, they could not go back.

For the rest of the match, the audience was against Lebrón/Galán because that was obviously unfair, and at this level of professionalism everyone expects the games to have a certain degree of sportsmanship/fairplay.
I actually think it was a good thing for them that they lost, because if they had won the public would be forever against them. The public will probably be against them anyway -- I'm not going to look at Galán the same way anymore.

Amazing match nonetheless, and it's astonishing to see Coello and Tapia overcome their nerves and control their stress levels to a point where they could win again. It's easy to see they were out of themselves during the second half of the second set.
You can also see what happened at 35:30 and draw your own conclusions about the overall psychological environment during the rest of the match.

Lo que me parece horrible fue la actitud de Galan y Lebrón aprovechando un error del árbitro para agarrarse al partido. Más sucios no se puede ser.

creí que era un deporte "limpio" y que los jugadores asumen cuando hay un error o se equivocan, el juez puede equivocarse pero lo que hizo Galón si realmente escuchó el error del juez y no dijo nada, es lamentable!

Aquí una vez más se demostró la mentalidad y el trabajo de los número uno el king y Agus y fue un partidazo para los 4. Entiendo que querían ganar a toda costa LeBron y galán peor sobraba, no fueron elegantes pero en ese momento se entiende estás a mil.
