As a convert from a Protestant denomination, I can attest this passage “unless you eat my flesh….” Trips many in the Baptist church up. So they just ignore it. Use it to convert them 🙏

I know I am still welcome to go to church even when I know I am naughty 🥺 I don’t dare to receive the Eucharist but I go out to get blessing at least. Cross my arms and place them on my chest. That’s what I learned long time ago 😚

If you read with an open mind, Christ never minces words.. it is to the point and direct, even if a parable. Our God is so amazing. I wish everyone could partake in the Eucharist, and in confession. 2 sacraments that just scream truth and grace and mercy.

thanks, Fr Josh, for the explanation about the real Presence in the Eucharist. i've heard it before but it's always good to hear it often.
also, those who left Jesus that day were the ones who did not believe in the real Presence, and those who stayed with Him, the Apostles, were the ones who believed. that says a lot. for 1, 500 years, every Christian believed in the real Presence.

Thank You Fr John for this! I have always wondered about this and now I know the answer! Now that we're almost at the end of Lent I have been watching the passion of Christ and this answers so many of my questions! You are so informative and it is so great to have a channel out there like Acsension Presents! We're almost there guys, lets give it one last push to the finish line! I was watching this and I started crying. It made me sad that many of my family do not believe in the Eucharist.
