The idea that Jeb is the only one who truly knows the Minecraft lore and refuses to tell anyone else in the studio is really funny to me

I honestly think that The Stalker was a pretty horrifying concept. The fact that it has its own animation for when it crawls in a 1 block gap scared me kinda when thinking of it.

Steve: "Where's the beast?"
Villager: "It's right there!"
Steve: "...That's a cow..."

Wait so the heartbeat is actually a heartbeat from one of the creators with a contact microphone??!!!! That really adds to the scary. I like that you guys go fully realistic with the sounds. That's genius!

People hate on 1.19 but the deep dark is an excellent feature. The Warden was instantly iconic.

Also, Mojang was working on the cave dweller before it was cool.

"Sympathy for the monster", that quote fits The Warden

Never thought that a cow would cause all of this

the stalker is terrifying! I think it would be super interesting if they had some sort of cave structure like trial chambers but it's just a gross wet cave with tons of stalkers in them. This way the player could turn around and leave, or they could stay and try to acquire loot without touching them. If you do touch one, all that are in the vicinity would be able to track and attack. That one block tall feature is absolutely nightmare fuel

I really do love the mystery surrounding the warden, the cities, and sculk in its entirity. What is it, how did it get there, why is the warden so hostile? Its so intriguing and I never expected something so foreboding and ominous to ever be in vanilla minecraft lol

As a person with tryphobia, if they had added the hollowed; y’all know I would instantly uninstall Minecraft.

They truly ate with the development of the Warden and Ancient Cities. One of the most fleshed out and polished experiences added to Minecraft in recent history.

I love how there’s visible void textures in the hollowed’s design in the hands feet and chest. Give a whole new factor of lore they were trying to work in before the warden was finished

W post.

Love the warden. He’s hard for sure. But I love his environment and the mob is genuinely something to fear. Makes even the most geared player shake in netherite armor

You’ve done an amazing job at making the warden. I love making liminal bases within the ancient cities. He along with the deep dark creates a lovely horror experience within an already lovely game. You simply outdone yourself with this concept.

1:49 Turns out Minecraft had already planned out the Cave Dweller before us
They were always one step ahead

"I feel like he is kinda misunderstood." Agnes being the sweetheart aunt as always.
Just wanna hug her and make all my problems go away.

It would actually be cool to see the stalkers back as a helping hand for the warden, as in the stalker being this also blind creature that is passive and what it does is warn the warden and flee from the player and from other mobs, and instead keep a distance. That'd be neat

I like the Warden's design so much that it drew me into playing Minecraft. Absolutely my favorite mob

Personally, the Warden will always be my favorite hostile mob in Minecraft. Salutations and congrats to Mojang Studios for working so hard to bring this mob to the Minecraft game. To this day, I never stop experimenting with Sculk and visiting the Deep Dark, everytime I create a new world, and always wish I could give the Warden a big hug.
