How to Color Grade between Premiere Pro and Davinci

you can export an additional edl file out of premiere. import this along with your exported vid into davinci and it will set the cuts perfectly

Generously cut and grade in resolve. Export and bring to premiere. Much easier.

Man, I don't know if you're doing that for views but please don't share shit techniques like that, scene cut detection is a grade feature but don't use it that way. I don't even know how you're doing your own color grade like that it can't be.

1) It's a paid feature
2) It sucks cause if you're doing that way you can only color grade with REC709 files which means you can't color grade.

Using XML files is so easy and will take the same amount of time (or less) than what he did AND it will link the media to your original media and you'll color grade as you want.

Or go old school export AAF from Premier. Impoer AAF to resolve link to original media grade and export sequence as individual clips relink sequence in premier to graded clips..

This way premier oroject is still wditable with effects.

It's not a good idea. This workflow decreases color information such as SLogs/CLog/VLogs etc. Moreover Scene Detection is only available in the paid version. Anyway I like the Into.

I use the exact same method. Only thing I struggle is when I used fade in/out cuts and I need to grade both separately. Any workaround recommendations?

Hey sir can you please help me, I edited a music video in premier pro and then export the XML file then import it on Davinci resolve to color grading then after completing my color grading when I export the individual clip it is now mismatch with some frame and I don't sync with the audio can you please help me with that....btw love you content..❤
