Everyone here hating on luts while the best people in the industry are using them to their advantage xD. Luts aren't bad, people just don't fucking know how and when to use them and then they go and try to convince others that they suck

Yep, I tried to use a BM Lut in a Sony file but did not work but it takes you close to it. But when a I used a SONY Lut in the same video. It nailed it.

I'm starting to teach myself how to color grade video. I'm not using anything fancy. Just Coral Video Studio 2023. I'm not able to use Clog 3 fro. My Canon R7. So I had to resort to installing Cinestyle on all my Canon cameras for a flat profile. I was nor aware LUTS were made for specific camera brands. Video Studio came with some LUTS. But most are useless. But some look better than others.

If you have the actual paint code any store can match it perfectly that was a terrible analogy lol
