We have VW Polo TDI from 2011
1, 20, 000kms on the odometer
Pure manual transmission no bullshit automatic gearbox issues. No clutch slippage or replacement till now
Picks up like a gem
If VW have issues of handling high torque with DSG then they can simply give diesels with manual transmission

I have a Vento 2017 1.5 tdi dsg, 110, 000 km. The torque limiting has always been there. They mapped the clutch release timing and torque, along with a forced neutral when you stand with the car in D with the foot on the brake. Apart from that, a few changes were made in the clutch materials and the mechatronics valve body.
