I actually really love how Calamity solved the bestiary. The lore items tell you lore from Yharim's perspective, while the bestiary only tells you objective facts.

Starlight river looks crazy good. They must have has experience before. The spritwork and weapons/mechanics of items looks so clean!

Does anyone notice that the blower in starlight river is a obvious reference to the blover from Plants Vs Zombies. That goes hard.

This is actually the first I've heard of Starlight River (though the name sounds familiar). Looks amazing and unique while still feeling like Terraria. I will be paying attention to it.

quick correction: starlight river has been ported to 1.4 for quite a while now and they have been working on it in that version for the past few months, there just hasn't been a public release since the short demo in the older version

Honestly i would really like starlight river to be a separate game so that the old terraria engine does not limit their creativity as much because some of the ideas are very creative.

If you didn't know, the Blover in Starlight River is actually a nod to the same plant in Plants Vs. Zombies! Nice to see the reference, I don't see many PvZ references in other games!

I am so excited for these mods. All it takes is for one mod developer to innovate once and it snowballs and becomes common practice afterwards. The enemy synergy looks sick.

I genuinely can't wait for you to see the Mod of Redemption port when it's completed; it already blows the 1.3 version out of the water

I would love to see a video to highlight QoL mods you would pair together. I recently started a Calamity 2.0 playthrough and was curious on your take of what sort of mods you would pair with a mod like Calamity. So your version of the ultimate Terraria playthrough. Whether its 2 or 3 mods or 10 or 20 mods... whatever you feel would make a massive, action packed, maybe even slightly overwhelming, Terraria experience - but still making the game less of a grind (like magic storage type mods)

I can't wait to play Thorium and then having my 4GB PC having a meltdown with Starlight River.
Some content mods I heavily suggest checking out that got ported to 1.4 (aside from Calamity) are:
"The Story of Red Cloud" (Terraria if it was an Open World game with new bosses and items).
"Polarities" (Great looking bosses and weapons themed around biology & physics).
"Secrets of The Shadows" (more world structures, bosses and weapons).
"Vitality mod" (Fun new bosses for vanilla biomes and more weapons for each class).
"The Stars Above" (Sci-Fi Anime with ridiculous and amazing weapons).
"Fargo's Souls" (Terraria you die more and become a god thanks to the grind).
