How to TURN OFF Mini Floating Keyboard on the Ipad Pro

Since the update, I randomly had this little tiny keyboard that needed two steps to open, instead of the regular default full size Ipad Keyboard. Turn off Scribble to get it back!

DEAR Dave, I draw cards for friends’ birthdays, etc. I often insert emojis with Markup text. My own birthday was last week. Someone gave me an Apple Pencil! Wow! Suddenly, my drawings are so much better (I’d been using my fat finger) but the nasty little keyboard has no key for emojis. Each time I wanted one I’d turn Apple Pencil and Bluetooth right off, to no avail, and finally power off my whole iPad so it would reboot with the full keyboard. Illustrative interruptus! I am so grateful to you as there’s a friend/family birthday almost every day of Feb.! 🙏 💕

It did not work on the iPad Pro 12.8. I am stuck with the dinky little kb. SO frustrating.

I actually like the scribble function, what drives me nuts is the long process now to pull out the keyboard, before you had two options pen and keyboard, does anyone know how to pull scribble and keyboard easier??

I did what you show on your video, but didn’t work out. Had to close the procreate and then I had my big keyboard back
