Hi. I wanted to thank you for the "excerpt tip". After watching your vid I immediately put an excerpt for my book "The LookyLoo" on it's product page at Amazon--And BOOM! I immediately started to get sales. I didn't do anything else promotion wise, I just added the excerpt. It was like the excerpt was the extra little "hook" that got folks over the "Hmm, should I get this" hump. Again, thanks for the tip. And congrats on your pregnancy.

OMG!! This is so cool! The idea of putting an excerpt in one of the sections on Amazon, and listing reviews in the “editorial reviews” is GENUIS!! I will have to keep that in mind for myself as well. :-)

This is great thanks for sharing! I’m curious though what is the fine line for an editorial review? For example I have a very detailed review from professional reviewers on Book Sprouts but they didn’t post the review on Amazon. It would be nice to incorporate them.

Yes! I watched a youtube video once that highlighted certain parts of this movie, and the concept was right up my alley and bought it right away. What happens for me is I end up searching for those key points that I watched and really wanted the full story behind. Thank you for this video! I've been wondering how to do this for a while. I just figured it went in the normal blurb section.

This is so useful!! I love your marketing videos. This feels like the Amazon equivalent of those shelves by the registers at Walmart - they put out the bright shiny things you wanna buy as you're waiting to check out. You put in the bright shiny excerpt for readers to stumble across as they're browsing.
