Attempting to Revive a Fading Hornet Queen with Honey

preview_player
Показать описание
One spring day, I found an injured Yellow hornet(Vespa simillima xanthoptera) queen. When I gave some honey to this queen, she seemed to revive a bit, but sadly, she soon passed away. Yellow hornet queens hibernate alone and then, in spring, they build nests and raise worker bees by themselves. Only about one in hundreds of these queens are capable of producing large nest and leaving descendants.

They all have their purpose in this world even the hornets and wasp. So let’s not disregard their presence in this world and learn to understand and respect them. Unfortunately there are too many ignorant people in this world to even understand this. Good on this lady to at least giving this queen one final drink before it’s passing day.

If it had survived it would have thanked you with a taste of its sting

I feel proud to tell my anecdote. I saved the life of a little bee, I found it in my room motionless, I left it outside with a little water next to it, when I returned to my house it was already moving a little, I cut a rose and left it inside so that it would feel at home, after two days he was completely moving. I felt very happy.

I use a translator to write this, I'm sorry if there are mistakes or something misspelled

When it cleaned itself, it seemed happy for your caring

Looks like she's lived a long life, and you just gave her the sweet ending she was looking for.

At least you tried, thats all that matters in the end. You truly tried zo care for this dying creature, which shows your high compassion for others, which is admirable

I saved a bumblebee from drowing in my pool. Catched it with the leaf skimmer. I put some gloves on in case of being stung and when j presented my finger she willingly climb on it and i removed my glove to let her rest on it. She chilled there for about 2 hours then she flew away. Insects are far from being dumb and will accept being helped if it is offered

Many people in the comment section are mindlessly blabbering without reading thd description. It is a yellow hornet, not Asian giant hornet. They themselves too get hunted by Asian giant hornet. The size too is clearly so small. Giant hornet queen is like 2-2.5 inches.
