I caved and made this within a day. Centaurworld is so good and the Nowhere King song just fits so well with Shattered Glass Optimus Prime.

SG Optimus is scarier than Megatron ever was. While he grew bloodthirsty, Optronix was insane TO BEGIN WITH. He was coldly calculating, and a brutal strategist but the fires of war made him even more unhinged. Talking to dead bodies as if they were still alive.

Ok, SG Optimus putting the butchered and possibly still conscious remains of his enemies on display like a Damien Hirst art piece is so incredibly in character that I'm surprised no one thought about it before.

Optimus never did like killing his enemies. Hearing their screams fade into a deafening silence. Feeling their bodies go slack as their spark was extinguished. The quiet bore such a heavy weight.

He needed to hear it, feel it, for as long as he could. That was the only thing that brought him peace anymore because the silence was so loud, and the stillness too agonizing.

It scares me that there might a singular entity, a sentient machine that is totally void of any and all emotion aside from a cool collected hatred towards anything living, and that it is so feared that all other advanced races stay quiet and are extremely carful when sending long range communications. This being the reason why we have not been contacted yet. Imagine one day we do get a message back saying "Quiet, it will hear you"

Evil Optimus as a concept is possibly the most disturbing thing in Transformers...It's not powerlessness in a cosmic horror sense, it's powerless in that utterly personal way, where he is so physically and mentally powerful that he can and WILL do whatever he wants with you and, unlike vague and uncaring eldritch gods, He will enjoy every second of whatever he's got planned. 😬
