I have the netflix version of the prime mold. It's actually one of my favorite figures to mess with atm.

I don't know if i necessarily agree with the build quality as bad as the 60s comment. I grew up in the early 80s and toys, while nowhere near as detailed or complex as now, certainly had better build quality.

I do agree that ratchet was really an afterthought for hasbro at this point.

I adore Shattered Glass and was super excited to have new figures from it that I could actually obtain. Funny enough though I already had the Shattered Glass MP-10 so I bought this set primarily for Ratchet. The quality on mine is actually really good and the colors don’t bother me personally. I love both figures though and am super excited for the Shattered Glass collection that’s coming later this year.

Ratchet should've been the Siege mold as its the superior mold and has a better head sculpt.

So glad they reissued this. I don't have the earthrise mold and I already have the ss86 version so this version is the best way to get this mold.

To be honest the closest thing I'm getting to G1 Ratchet I'm gonna have to get this set which it's great!

I honestly want to get that set because of Ratchet, I was very close to getting the paradron medics set, but because of some people who like to be greedy and double the set, I couldn’t get it.

I loved the optimus prime mold but I'm still sad tho,
I got the Netflix version, first time, Sheldon Cooper (sheildron) had a broken leg (transparent yellow and all ball joints, normally id fix it being a customiser, but clear plastic is one of my weak points), so we returned it, and we got a new one.
On returning it, I never saw it on shelves again, so I was relieved that no kid had to go through that pain, but then I realised all of the Netflix figures dissapeared, I got concerned again.
However, Sheldon Cooper was fine, but the axe wasn't, after like 4 transformations, the wing peg broke, so I couldn't do much, and I had enough dignity not to return it again, so I had to deal with it. I tried changing the blue, and that worked but I lost the head as my brother put superglue on it, and I misplaced it.
So now I'm just sad, a great figure, rarely played with.
But if anyone knows where I can get a head replacement that comes to Australia, plz tell
