James Beacham is a experimental high-energy particle physicist with the ATLAS Collaboration at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, where he sifts through the largest unique dataset in human history looking for exotic Higgs bosons, dark photons, gravitons, dark matter, extra dimensions, quantum black holes, and answers to the most baffling open questions of science. He is currently a post-doc with the Ohio State University. He did his PhD at New York University. He lives in Geneva and misses bagels back home in New York.

Love that he said “maybe she’s not even born yet” ❤️

A two dimensional plane is a space enclosed by a line and line is the path of of a moving point. The most beautiful things can not be seen or touched, they can also be felt by the heart intuitively.

FAILURE IS NEVER A MISTAKE IT MAY SIMPLY BE THE BEST YOU CAN DO UNDER PARTICUALAR CIRCUMSTANCES

ATTENTION We need more physicists to focus on how we can use these discoveries to save the planet... too often our greatest minds go off into scientific abstraction or corporate interests instead of looking out for the greater good of everyone (including non human life) whos life and environment is under constant threat. We need to come together to save the Earth from human-caused extinction.

can this machine revive a dead body? colliding atoms or protons/electron/and neutron? because it seems to me that if that statue of beersheeva at the end of the tunnel is her real life statue from when she died from extremely hot lava falling from the sky, she can still be revived according to quantum physics

Maybe that person is just watching this video now.

Good video the elements are out there follow the gravity maybe where the gravity holds the multi verses together maybe the universe itself has its own gravitational pull

A very clever way of saying 'we don't know s**t yet' and a very expensive way of finding out.
In a conscious universe, the reality of existence plays hide and seek, truth cannot be found but only reveal itself.

well Oppenheimer had a idea too, how did that work out?

The next particle collider must live in outer space.

Why they don’t take advantage of the boson particules collides to generate heat and replace the nuclear bombardment energy... I want to understand if this futon collision can generate any kind of power.. since he said this collide power can spread into space !?

I tend not to believe there are higher dimensions. They are analogy to Aether 100 years ago which was kicked out by general relativity. It's likely that we made up some mathematical stuff to try to fit general relativity and quantum mechanics. Later we might find out they are very limited even in their own fields.

what if forces have a total effect. Electromagnetism is strong at a short distance but disappears at a long distance. Gravity is week, but can be felt at a great distance.

One more point is that, we are living in 3 spatial dimention world. Have you ever seen or heard of a true 2 spatial dimention world? No. It's merely a hypothetical concept. The same thing here, why there must be a higher dimension world if, as 3D intellegent species, you can't even find a closed 2D world?

FYI : The eather blocks JP Morgan is virtual hyper dimensional money.
