Alot of people r gonna be expecting most of the things in skate 3 to be in skate 4. So not naming it skate 4 almost seems like an excuse to change big things like the movement and the physics, and thats gonna disappoint a lot of people including me. They can't receive backlash from people comparing it to skate 3 if its not a sequel. But i don't really have my hopes up at all tbh, i just wanna trickline but i don't think that'll exist in "skate."

I think a problem I am seeing with the game is that they are trying to make it like Skate 1 and Skate 2. If it doesn’t give any Skate 3 memories or vibes I think this game could be a flop.

all the signs and lingo point to a live service game. like maybe they'll have a single player story mode, but im not tryna play strictly multiplayer all the time and also relying on an internet connection just to play. i feel like this will also turn ppl off especially the older crowd who played back when skate.create was still what it was haha (who also wanted a skate 4 wayyy before those who were waiting since announcement)
