Hi Franscisco, the Wouxun KG-UV8D is primarily for amateur (ham) use and is not pre-programmed to frequencies on other radio services. To talk to other radios, it would first need to be programmed to the specific frequencies used by those radios.

Having said that, please keep in mind that the Midland GXT5000 is an FRS/GMRS radio and the Vertex EVX-539 is a business DMR (digital mobile radio). Although technically the KG-UV8D could be programmed to work with them, it isn't FCC type accepted for use on FRS or GMRS radio services. Also, the KG-UV8D is an analog radio, so the EVX-539 would need to be in analog or mixed mode to work with it.

I brought the KG-UV8D Wouxun two way radio like the way it looks, but l can't get it to work with my other two way radio's for example l have the GXT5000 midland and the Vertex evx 539 both unit's are able to receive and transmit to each other, but can't with the KG-UV8D probably the unit isn't set needed it to be per-programmed can some one give me some tips on how to get it to work please thanks.
