This error got into my nerves that I retired to bed early. When I woke up thankfully I clicked on this video it works. Appreciate man.

Horribly surprising that mongo managed to make the best database server, with the worst technical documentation humanly possible so that we need videos like this as the company doesn't tell us how to. Thanks for this video, it did fix my issue. I only needed the bin path variable for my fix though

Hi, buddy. Thanks for the explanation. In my case, I have MongoDB Compass installed in my Windows operating System and I am able to open the interface and get the same error message when trying to connect and when I go to services, the MongoDB service is nowhere to be found. What could be the cause of this? Trying to run the command mongosh does not work either: the command is not found
