I bought a Victor Reinz full gasket set last year for a BBC. I like to compare new parts with old parts. Just something I learned the hard way. The rear main seal did not look right. I put it together on the crank and found that the seal lips did not even touch the crank. If I had just put this motor together and put it back in the car, I would have had a massive oil leak. I tried to contact Victor reinz and got NO response. All I could think was how many guys put motors together with this (wrong) seal. I never buy Victor reinz anything anymore. Anyone (whoever put the kit together) can make a mistake. My problem is Victor reinz simply did not care.

How much time it need to wait after using Hermetik sealer for oil pan to dry before driving car?

Thats a pretty thick bead of sealant. Im just afraid of overspill which can spill inside engine oil pan. This will risk clogging the oil pan strainer pick up tube etc.
