Looks like your vanes are a ways off the back of your arrow. If this gives you the best clearance from your face that is fine; but you ideally want the vanes as close to the back of your arrow as possible without having face contact. The farther back your vanes the more leverage they have from the fulcrum point of your arrow and the more efficiently they will be able to steer and correct the arrow.

I believe that setup will work great for field points. Might want/need a longer vane if you're shooting fixed blade broadheads, or use a 4 fletch with the vanes you have.

I plug in those exact numbers I took off the screen as you panned over it, I get 15.8% FOC.

I plug in those exact numbers on the podium archer sight and yes, you get what you go for FOC.

My question is how is that possible to use the exact same numbers but yet get 3% difference?

I like to get a bit closer to 500 gr but I’m sure it’s still very effective.

Just did lots of search and everybody says 15% is max but many stil uses more. So confusing...

Where can we get to the FOC calculator?

? so I shoot the victory RIP arrows. what is the difference between the RIP and the RIP TKO? the only thing I can see is the inserts. the TKO has a 50grn insert and the RIP has a 60 grn insert and that is the only difference I have found. The same weight 8.8 gpi. so let me know on that if you could. or maybe I should ask Josh to do a comparison on his channel of if you can.

I need vane suggestions. My local shop won’t install AAE or Tac vanes due to “peeling issue” I have my jig at home but need other vane ideas

Just curious why you went 250 spine….from what I’ve gleaned by watching all of your #ABT posts 300 spine should be plenty. Again, just curious. Hopefully ordering some RIP TKOs up as soon as MFJJ gets some Ti half outs back in stock!

It looks great but I don't think you are at 18% FOC. Probably closer to 13%.

Only thing I would change is the vanes if it's a hunting arrow and you're shooting fixed heads.

Idk what formula Podium is using for that optimal KE arrow weight but that nonsense is a straight lie, I've never seen a bow lose efficentcy going to a heavier arrow, let alone almost 20ft lbs with a heavy arrow. You can watch bow speed test all day on youtube with people shooting various weight arrows through a chrono with the same bow and run the numbers for yourself. Btw not a heavy arrow guy or anything, but that "calculator" is obscenely false.
