Coffs Harbour Bypass December 2024 Midcoast NSW Australia

The Coffs Bypass is coming along beautifully, It will be a beautiful drive when complete as it intertwines through the terrain.

This and the Hexham bypass will make travelling between Sydney And Brisbane a dream rather than current nightmare.

I use to go to gold cost from Sydney every August school holidays in the mid 1960 me and my two sisters lying on a mattress in the back of dad’s HD Holden station wagon we would leave Sydney at 5am in the morning Coffs Harbour was half way 2 days to the gold cost now it’s about 9 hours that’s progress

I would say more to the NSW/QLD boarder. As the QLD side is a shambles right through to the sunshine coast, and the Bruce Hwy beyond that is the embarrassment, as a National M1

Every time i drive past it looks like progress has been made; the savings to commercial vehicles and business will be huge and the risk factor of accidents reduced substantially in Coffs. Great progress and continuity unlike in QLD😂

At the rate they are going they will need to look into realignment for quantification in both directions

I move out of Coffs in 1992 & still have family here but this looks so slow going

Not your fault but there never seems to be much action going on, is there a restriction of when you can fly like only when there is little or no work going on? or are your flights on weekends
