Driving the amazing Waterfall Way! Armidale to Coffs Harbour, Northern NSW [4K]

Can't beleive I've not heard of this road yet. I'm putting together a road trip plan for exploring north for once so I hope I run into more of your videos along the discovery journey.

Having done this drive about a thousand times now, I still appreciate the vast changes in scenery that you go through - in good seasons when it's all green; in poor seasons when it's all greys and brown, and after fires when it's still a smoking wreck. It's got some wonderful scenery - and if you know where to turn off here and there, some epic waterfalls! A slightly longer but equally scenic alternative is to drive north of Armidale to Guyra and head to Ebor from there - the rest remains the same.

another journey on the road that is awsome would be morriset to armidale via thunderbolts way. although you have already MADE a video going through thunderbolts way it still would be really cool.

Great coverage thank you for this. By altering the playback speed I was able to assess the varied countryside and townships of Dorrigo and Bellingen. 🖕 Another great drive is the Oxley highway Wauchope to Port Macquarie. Particularly by sports car or motorcycle early morning. !!!

Good to see my home town of Armidale hasn't changed all that much but I sure do miss travelling up and down Dorrigo Mountain, but it's one of those roads if you don't respect it, it will bite and bite hard, especially when there's trucks coming the opposite way

I HIGHLY recommend for you to make a video on The Lakes Way on the Mid North Coast. In my opinion it is one of THE most underrated scenic drives in NSW, in fact it is literally my second favourite scenic drive in the entirety of the state, first is the B78(obviously). Passing through the twin towns of Forster-Tuncurry and offering tons of SPECTACULAR coastal views and winding through several lush green forests, I believe it is a MUST DRIVE especially for road enthusiasts like you. Trust me you wont regret it😉

I have traveled Waterfall Way a couple of times and yes I can safety say it’s such a gorgeous road to drive on! I have photos and drone shots of my travels on that road on me! 😁

I have to say only small parts of that drive were spectacular. You want a nice drive go from Byron Bay to Midginbil NSW. Well worth it.

We went that way a month ago and it was so scary with the amount of huge trucks we had to pass . There were at least 8 double trailer gravel trucks going up and not leaving much room for anything else . Scenery was amazing but the trucks were so scary to have to pass on such a narrow cliff road

I have done this same road with a friend back in 2018 - we had a hire car (a 6 month old at the time Mitsubishi ASX LS) and the scenery was fantastic! Would love to do it again with my mother

travelled along this road pre-Black Summer – can't recommend it enough. the only road in NSW I consider more beautiful than this is the Snowy Mountains Highway.
