Going to high school in the late 70s was pretty cool with music like this around

To answer your question, Led Zeppelin came out first - formed in 1968, first record dropped in early '69. Van Halen played around Pasadena and LA for several years before putting out there first record in early'78.

Van Halen is my favorite band of all time and you have so many great songs to discover ! A Van Halen Marathon would be awesome !! Eddie Van Halen was the ultimate guitar hero…RIP…the whole album Van Halen rocks along with “Beautiful Girls, Little Guitars with into, Where have all the good time Gone, And the Cradle will rock, Panama, Drop Dead legs” to name a few…

One of my favorite Van Halen songs. This was a fun concert. David Lee Roth the singer and Eddie Van Halen were having so much fun at the concerts. Saw them twice. Someone asked Eric Clapton how it felt to be the greatest guitarist ever and he said, @ You’ll have to ask Eddie VanHalen!”

The best thing to do, is start with VH I. And go through all the albums. You won't be disappointed

You should listen to Eruption live without the net, 1986 (Eddie’s solo), it will blow your mind. Also I’m the one, Mean street, hot for teacher

You have so many Van Halen songs to listen to. The greatest hits list is most of the songs that went to the billboards top 10 singles list. But alot of van halen songs were really great songs that didn't make the list. Some of my favorites are, I'll wait, Black and Blue, Don't tell me what love can do, Finish what ya started.

The best Van Halen song in terms of shredliness is I'm the One. The best SONG is Jamie's Cryin'. Best rhythm guitar track in history. There's a great Steve Vai video where he talks about why Eddie stood out from the beginning: you can hear the chords really clearly and IN TUNE. Shockingly hard to achieve and mostly about Eddie's hands

This is my favorite Van Halen Song. Eddie Van Halen to me is by far if not the best, but one of the best guitarists of all times

There were two errors of Van Halen one with David Lee Roth and when they split they brought in an amazing singer Sammy Hagar. David Lee Roth was glam and showmanship and Sammy was an incredible rock star singer With incredible range. Some prefer David Lee Roth era others prefer Sammy Hagar(“Van Haggar” lol). They’re both fantastic but there’s a different character to the songs and probably more showmanship of EVH’s guitar skills. Check out 5150, Dreams, Judgement Day, Pleasure Dome, When it’s love, AFU Naturally Wired, Source of Infection, Sucker in a 3 Piece Suit, And these to Classics with David Lee Roth- Mean Streets is a rager from their first debut album and Me Wise Magic I was a single win Eddie and David decided to work together briefly in the late 90s

I'm having trouble finding Van Halen on your site. Maybe I'm wrong. Where is it?
