I bought these boots in July 2022 and instantly fell in love with the comfort and lightweight. I am a lineman/troubleman so I am using these daily as "Work Boots" and occasionally climb poles in them as work dictates, which i know is not what they are even kinda designed to do. After 6 months, Jan 2023, the boots leaked so bad I had to use seal skin socks to get through the storms. I think the reason the water proof failed was due to the fact that foxtails get lodged in the lace system down at the toe and are very hard to clean out. I think they poked holes in the gore-tex, this is just my theory. 15 months later the boots are completely worn out and ready to be replaced, which is normal for me after 16 years of this work and really only expect any boot to last for a year, even dedicated lineman boots. After all this being said I am currently shopping for and will buy another pair of Crispis, not settled on which ones yet. I can't emphasize enough how comfortable they are. Wish you guys made a dedicated lightweight, synthetic lineman boot.

I have them since they came out. They are definitely on the skinny side. I just tie them up differently and they work very well!

Kendall, I as well have a wide forfoot. Looking at adding a Laponia or Summit. Should I plan to order the wide size?
