He might resent her for being a hypocrite over the drink line, but this dude is not a recovering alcoholic, he is an addict with huge problem and he does Not want to be married to her. He can't run from her fast enough. She knew he was a drunk and she married him anyway because they are both toxic & neither one of them have a clue how to navigate a healthy relationship. They've never had one.

Jlo is chasing her eternal legacy, she can't stop herself. Ben just wants to drink and escape, he can't stop himself. Neither have marriage a priority or anyone else ahead of themselves for that matter.
