Whoopi Goldberg DEFENDS Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck’s Reunion Amid Divorce

Whoopi Goldberg is coming to Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s defense after the pair reunited with their kids at the Beverly Hills Hotel over the weekend amid their divorce. In a segment on Monday’s “The View,” co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro discussed the recent reunion where Ben and JLo were reportedly affectionate with one another, according to Page Six. “It is very difficult, because people like us sit around and we judge it. And we don’t think to ourselves - maybe we just say, ‘Oh, how nice [that] they’re hanging out together.’ Because the kids hear all of this,” the EGOT winner said, later adding, “I’m assuming that they went out because [the] kids wanted to go out, and everybody was doing their thing. And if you’re happy with your family, then you’re affectionate with them. It doesn’t mean you’re going home with them again. It just means, you know, I’m not so mad at you that I can’t sit across from you.” Despite their reunion, People reported that the two are still moving forward with their divorce.
