Sloane Kennedy always dreamed of being a writer but didn’t take the plunge until 2015 when she finally released her first novel. Since then, she hasn’t stopped, and she now has over 40 books to her name, including the Amazon best-selling gay-romance Pelican Bay and The Protectors series.
Kennedy’s Twist of Fate (written in collaboration with Lucy Lennox) and Pelican Bay series have also both recently been optioned for film and television to an Emmy-nominated producer.

On June 17, Kennedy joined us to share her story, the resources she used to educate herself about self-publishing, and her top tips for social media and giveaways.

Wow. I am impressed with what Sloane Kennedy has achieved in such a short amount of time. It's no wonder you were able to quit your job. I will check out your books. I don't typically read MM romance but I'm curious to see how you tell a story. Great interview.

Yeah, the editor and DTP (getting the manuscript ready for publishing) aren't easy to find. I'm going crazy with 1 book in a year cause of all these details. It's really crazy-making how freaking slow the process is.

This was a great interview with can we call her a legend now? I love Sloane Kennedy's work. I'm on the "Pelican Bay" series and just in love with her work. I'll be honest with you, I'm kind of biased towards the MM romance. ❤❤❤
