hi there, could you explain what happens when you are required to find the probability of something occuring less than, more than or at least a certain amount of times?

Specifically, if the possion distribution is 1, 8 tubes of toothpaste purchased per month, what is the probability of less than 2 tubes being purchased in a month?

If I have 500 records. X repeated(occur) 78 over 300 records.
How do I predict or estimate X occurrences in the next 200 records?
