At 1:20 you show a display adapter. Is there a specific one (or just one you recommend) for the M1 iMac (to add additional monitors)?

Would I be able to connect my Mac Book Pro to my M1 iMac? As a secondary display?

I have a 2021 IMac and a 2019 MacBook Pro. How do I set it up so that the MacBook Pro is the working machine and the iMac is the mirrored monitor (I just want to use tthe iMac as a bigger monitor) thanks!

This is awesome. Can you run an Adobe application like Illustrator on your iPad (to design on), and see it also displayed on the IMac?

Hi Ben, I have the iMac M1 and just bought an I pad air M1. I follow your video but I don't see any Sidecar in the menu. Nor in the iMac and I pad. The only sidecar is in the display under advance, but when I turn that on no option appears to connect the I pad to the iMac. My menu is also different than yours. You have the old layout, I have a different menu bar. I want for my audio recordings to share the screen with my iMac so I can use the screen on the I pad when I am in my vocal booth to operate my DAW that way, otherwise I have to constantly drag all my equipment into the booth. How do I do that?

Hi! I currently have an existing Dell external monitor to my iMac 2021 but I need to connect another one, is that possible? So basically I want a total of 3 monitors.

Hi! I'm using MBA m1 and am trying to use sidecar with my iPad pro 2017... I was able to send files thru airdrop/airplay from iPad to mac, and vice versa... but when trying to check and add the iPad as display, iPad won't show up. I wonder if it's really not possible to use sidecar, but I checked the apple support compatible devices, it says all iPad pro models, my iPad ios is at v15.3

I'm trying to connect my very old 2010 iMac and use it as an extra monitor by connecting it to my new 2021 M1 iMac. I've watched loads of Youtube videos on how to do it and what cables to use. I've gone and purchased them from Amazon, only to find it doesn't work. However I think I'm doing something wrong, or I haven't purchased the correct cables. Any one help?

I needed this information since I bought a small 16 inch external monitor that is 3:2 it wasn't displaying any video signal in the thunderbolt ports but only on my laptop and Mac mini thunderbolt port. Just to test it out I barely have room for a three display on my table. I am happy that this external Monitor is light and can carry it out anywhere with just the Type C from my laptop it turns on with no additional power.. In the future ill get an iPad to try this but when it gets an OLED screen which I heard rumors for 2024.

You don't really show yourself working with it. How do I know if it's any good.
