To anyone still wondering, Gordon's official jumps were 32.5" (standing) and 39.0" (max), according to NBA Stats. Or in other words, dude can fly

Most of these tests are done only once and sometimes it depends on your mood i.e adrenaline at that moment or some people need to do it at least twice. Aaron Gordon mentioned in his interview that he has been tested for a 42 inch vertical.

Regardless of others past stats he is a great athlete and did a great vertical jump. With out them showing his standing reach it doesn't really show anything that he touched the top. They also dont show the "sticks, " range of vert it can measure. I am 6ft and have a 32" vert and if they used the same "stick, " for him as they did me he would easily touch the top.

I just hope Shaquille Johnson does well enough to go to the combine. That guys is an amazing vert jumper.

Look up Darrell Griffith. Monster dunker back in the 80's Dude was called Dr. Dunkenstein. 6'4" with a 48" vertical just like Jordan.
